Believing in Christ Jesus, opens a whole new door of opportunity to a person’s life, which includes a living to positively impact the world around you. Sharing the Good News and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ remains a key channel which drives our impact on the earth as we yield to Christ’s leadership in our life’s (Mark 16:15). Thankfully, the advancement in technology has provided us with a great platform to spread the message beyond the boundaries of our immediate environment. Today, we’ll explore practical ways to maximize technology in preaching the Gospel of Christ Jesus, as we seek to impact the world around us:
- Utilize Social Media Platforms–
One way to reach a broader audience for the Gospel message is by taking advantage of social media platforms. Today, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and many other social media platforms can help you connect with millions of people worldwide. You can post scriptural texts, inspirational messages, or even short encouraging videos to reach out to people online. Remember Jesus Christ Says:- ‘Go into the world and Preach the Gospel’ (Mark 16:15). I consider the streets of social media, a representation of the world Jesus spoke of. Where the people are gathered, there He wants to be amongst them, revealing Himself and ministering healing and wellness to them, in every conversation. But how can He do this, if we don’t bring Jesus into these conversations? - Start a Blog or a Podcast–
In 2024, approximately 500 million people worldwide listened to a podcast monthly, with around 300 million tuning in weekly. Based on this statistics, podcast devotees, listen to an approximate of 8 episodes per week, which equates to 1.14 hours per day. (This is according to www.podcastpage.io/podcast-statistics/). So, If you have a passion for writing or speaking, then prayerfully consider using your skills to start a blog or a podcast. You can focus on biblical themes, life lessons, or age-specific topics, which the Lord lays on your heart. This is a great way to engage with your audience while impacting lives positively. Paul, one of the greatest preachers of all time, said: “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction” (2 Timothy 4:2). - Use Online Gospel Tracts–
Another way to maximize technology in preaching the Gospel is by using online gospel tracts. An online tract is a digital version of the traditional printed tract that contains the Gospel message. You can share it via email, WhatsApp, Facebook, and many other digital platforms. The good news is that there are various gospel tracts that you can find online, and many of them are available for free. According to God’s wisdom in Ecclesiastes 11:6, keep sowing your seed and withhold not your hand, both in the morning and at hand, because eventually, you are guaranteed an harvest either ways. - Maximizing Church Website And Livestreaming-
A church website is an excellent way to connect with people who are looking for a church home. You can post sermons, Bible teachings, and other helpful resources. Additionally, you can set up live streaming services to reach out to a global audience. One of the beautiful things about technology is that it can bring people together from different parts of the world. Jesus said, “if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me.” John 12:32. How? Through our Global Spread of the Gospel of Christ Jesus. So, why not use a well set up website to connect with those who need to hear the message of salvation?
In conclusion, technology is one of God’s major sickle of harvest, in drafting in the end time harvest of souls into His Kingdom. So take the limits off yourself, because Jesus is waiting on you to take the bold step of Faith, towards a revolutionized ministry. Why? Because the Gospel of Christ’s Kingdom must be preached IN ALL THE WORLD For a witness into All Nations and then, shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).
There are certain nations you may not have access to today, but whose citizens are ready to receive the Gospel message of Christ Jesus! It’s time to yield to Christ’s call Today and get the world out, through every available Voice! We have only started to scratch the surface of what’s possible with technology. So, i encourage you to explore every positive, and creative way as promoted by God’s Holy Spirit, to reach out to people with the life-changing message of Christ. Remember, “Whatsoever you do, in words or deed, do it in the name of the Lord“ (Colossians 3:17).
